Is OutSmart Secure?
We take the security of our data very seriously. We use secure SSL connections for all data transfers, and our servers are in secure physical locations under constant monitoring in Canada and the US.
Can you import my data from my previous EMR?
Yes, absolutely. So long as the data you give us is in a digital and structured format, we can import it. This means we love Excel files, CSV files, and database files. Depending on your subscription plan, there may be a cost associated with imports.
Do I need an internet connection to access OutSmart?
Yes, you do. OutSmart is a cloud-based EMR, which means that you need an internet connection to use the service. OutSmart has been designed to be fast and efficient at data storage and retrieval. Our entire system can run from your cellphone’s internet connection if needed.
Can I share my patient charts with other practitioners?
Yes, most definitely, but it doesn’t stop there. You can securely share custom templates, files, handouts and diagrams between practitioners, and even if you are at different clinics! But don’t worry, patient files are never automatically shared. You retain full control over exactly what you share, and with whom.
Is OutSmart the least expensive EMR out there?
